Hey, I was looking into the Death Korps models and was loving them. Yet like most people I do not have money growing on trees and knew I could not afford a full army. Then I saw Tanith Ghost's I saw that I can mix them and another army, Death Korps in one full army list. This is a good change too for usually I use a regular stand and shoot Guard army and infiltrating would be fun. Just wanted to know what is the best way to complement the different tactics of both armies to become a balanced force. Also if it is even feasible in a game and can actually win. Also if anyone has a Tanith Army tactics or hints it could be helpful. Thx
Sry I know that I should not double post but should I take the deafeningly silence as a reply that this army is not feasible rule and game wise?
Very few play Tanith armies, and the Death Korps haven't recived their own rules yet aside from the doctrine suggestions in the back. I doubt you'll find anyone with experience in mixing these two armies because of their rarity.
Tanith, love the fluff, love the books
But anyhow, I have/haven't used tanith in my army. I used converted guardsmen to represent tanith before the current codex was out, I also used milo bragg and the likes later.
This army sounds feasible but until the DK have their own rules it's kinda hard to say much.
I already have regular IG army and Tanith models, converted of course, just wanted to. I don't need to use Death Korps now just wanted to know how Tanith list would complement a regular IG list and vice versa.
Well in the books the Tanith are always helping out other guard forces just like any off world regiment really so just say that both the Death Korps and Tanith are fighting on the same world.
"Hey sarge, this lasgun is heavy. I wish we had something lighter."
