so ive been reading up on the forums about deathwatch... and they seem interesting. i have just jumped into building a 2000 point grey knight list via buying 2 boxes of grey knight terminators, ill will probably end up fielding 2 4 man squads at 2000 only or possibly uping them to 6 man squads for victory point purposes. just something to keep in mind while making suggestions. im interested in what rolls a deathwatch kill team could serve in a gk list. i can see fire support with a razorback, kinda being on the low end of important. i dont like the idea of deepstriking a 300 point tank hunting squad either. perhaps a five marine 2 melta gun squad for 230 could find some use in the list. i would like to keep my deathwatch squad at five or 10 man for fluffs sake. lascannon razorback could be kinda gimmicky but nice too. just some stuff to think about so far. if i intend to have 2 dreads in the list a rhino could also find a home. im not real hot on the idea of having heavy bolters on them, which i know is one of there big things.
i guess my big questions would be; how would you outfit a squad of deathwatch marines in a puritan list, what purpose or role could they be used for, are the points better spent, and has anyone had any success with them in a pure gk list?
thanks a ton! any help will be greatly appreciated!
You can't actually take deathwatch marines with Grey Knights. If DH is the parent list (it has to be, DW can only be taken as allies) and contains Grey Knights, then no marines may be taken, including DW.

yeah, i can see your point canew. the heavy bolters with suspensor could be my best bet. i do need all the point i can get for those costly pagks. so suspensors is considered the best heavy bolter outfit? it makes sense, mobility is huge. the librarians psychic hood sounds like a good deal, but is it really? when all my justicars and brother captains have one that is a bit weaker.
phoenix as well as the numerous forum posts on the topic a quick read of the rules will yield the deathwatches viability in a daemonhunters list.
thanks for the advice
