My next guard army needs a color scheme, I`m looking for something new something you don`t see much of, I have a few ideas See what you think and tell me which you like
First off I have the Basic Color Scheme for the 101st Grenadier guard, this is what I was going to go for
But I was Thinking of being Different and going for a sort of UN (United Nations) Kinda feel, so I was thinking maybe either this
Or perhaps this
Then I thought, well what about something normal, not so flashy just simple and plain, so Maybe this would be better
But then again I thought you don`t see many desert armies do you, so why not this
or maybe go right off and do something that I have never ever seen, a scheme for a fire world
Now I know your gonna say its up to you, and yes it is, but I have chosen quite a few and I like them all, so I was wondering which one would you say to go for, and if you have any, why not post your armies color scheme, using the Games workshop Guardsmen color in thingy lol http://uk.games-workshop.com/imperia...painter/1/#47; show us yours, and its easily modified in paint.
so go on tell me which you prefer and show us yours, it could be fun
definately go for the fire world one. it's unique and probably hasn't been done before, plus it's an awesome idea. plus it would be kind of cool if you used a lot a flamers, with flames coming out of them just to enfazise the point that these guys are hot.
anyway, if you do go for this it would be really stunning if you made some kind of fire world base with lava and stuff.
That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.
Yeah, the mostly red + khaki uniform works surprisingly well with the cadian models. My skitarii have predominantly red armour and desert yellow for the rest, black guns, I like to think it looks ok!
Rocks/lava for their bases, whilst taking a while longer than just grass etc, would make for an awesome look too. Spend a little while making up a couple of practise bases first before you start working on the whole army though, its time well spent.

Also, you should google "garfield minus garfield". Awesome.
