If my inquisitor is prepped for shooting and he uses sanctuary to keep the hordes of chaos off of him can his retinue of shooty servitors/alcoytes make use of there guns without stopping his ability? IE can they shoot and not have to worry about being assaulted?
Legion Of Everblight: Abyslonia
Protectorate of Menoth: Grand Exemplar Kreoss
I'm pretty sure that they can, I belive he is the only one that cannot fire weapons.
Yep. Everybody else in the inquisitor's squad can fire normally. One thing to remember is that sanctuary not only prevents daemons from charging, and not only does it push them away from you if they were in assault (or just too close), but sanctuary can't be seen through by daemons. If you're clever, you can arrange your forces such that your sanctuarying inquisitors are shielding your more valuable troops setting behind them. Imagine using a couple of inquisistors to create a 12" wide swath of daemon-impervious "terrain" behind which they can't even see! Meanwhile, those guys behind the sanctuary can fire away with impunity.
This is a pretty difficult tactic to pull off, and it's also too specialized to use with any regularity, but when you do pull it off it is a joy. It's always a good thing when that nasty defiler doesn't have any valid targets.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.
