I just got the Armies of the Imperium army builder software and noticed a couple of problems with the Daemonhunters:
1)It lets you take Death-Cult Assassins without any Inquisitors
2)It charges you 7 pts. instead of 6 for Familiars (it charges 1 pt. for C.C. Weapon)
3)It only charges you 10 pts. for a Combat Servitor with a Power Fist instead of 25 (10 + 15 for the Power Fist)
4)When using it for IG or SM's, you can select DH's as allies, but it doesn't allow you to include allies of any kind in your DH army.
Just wanted to make you all aware. Does anybody know of any other problems and does anybody know if there is some kind of patch out there?
yea the program is buggy, i bought it too. the only time in my life i ever wanted a refund from gw. not to flame em, but just be careful. if you buy it. you may be a tad dissappointed
Not to mention you can't build a White Scars army on it, either.
Ummmm, there's a program CALLED Army Builder. I think its from Lone Wolf development or something like that. Anyhow, I sprung a few bucks for it several years ago. The big deal with it is that you can make armies from ANY game system on AB, all you have to do is download the files for that particular game system.
I use the same proggie to make WFB, WH40k, BFG and DBM armies.
Army Builder is the coolest. Its so slick and has very few bugs with 40k and they are constantly coming out with patches to fix the few bugs that come up. I play DH and the only thing they do wrong in the whole entire program that i can tell is you can't put extra armor on your DN. Thats it, everything else is perfect!
The Interactive Army List from GW is BOUND to have bugs in it. The first patch was only just released a few days ago for pitys sake! It's software, the same as anything else on your computer. And no software on your computer is without bugs. It just takes time to iron out the bugs from software.

I own the Army Builder program, and a friend of mine own's the GW Armies of the Imperium program. After using both, I'd definitely suggest the one from LoneWolf over GW's. I mean, right off the bat it lets you use ALL 40K armies, not just Imperial/Otherwise. Plus, it works wonderfully with all the other game systems... I mean come on GW.
I enjoy the program, it is smooth, and very easy to use. I have to agree the a prior post that yes this is software we are talking about, so there are going to be alot of bugs in them. Trust me I have been playing computer games for many years, and found more bugs in the $50.00 games that are suppose to be revolutionary, than in anything the GW has put out.
Te only disappointment was the fact that they broke it up into two. I was not happy about that but I thought, hey I wont want to play them anyway.
Just my opinion.
gws history with softwear isent exactly solid but thats just my opinion army builder has some serious flaws but is relaitvley easy to use where as army builder is a completely thouroug program and although a few bugs still exist it is in my opinion the best
i have a quick question,
how much does armies of the imperium cost?
