So i was thinking, when the new DA come out next month, I was gonna buy the sprue(s) with the robed bodies and put Grey knight marine halberds and a GK power sword for my sarge on for their arms. It's gonna look awesome. I'm not sure about My army is regular marines with traits (cause i love infiltrating plasma cannons). I use DA symbology anyway (I liked it so i wrote into my fluff). I was just wondering if there might be a problem using the GK arms in a tourney to count as regular cc weapons. Man they are gonna look cool!
Absolutely not, you can model your marines however you want.
But, make sure you let your opponent know what's on your marines, so that they don't get confused.
"Space Marines with Nemesis Force Weapon Halberds?!??!!??"
I can see it now...
It's been done. :shifty:
BTW. Sometime tomorrow, I'll mail you something... interesting.
And Veterans can just be normal Marines or they can each be heavily modded to look like the Custodes in your colour scheme. It doesn't really matter that much. Go crazy!
Post your army lists in the ARMY LIST section! Not that hard!
That is one cool mini, but it doesn't really capture the effect I'm going for. First of i'm not doing termies, just veterans and im not doing capes with tassles, i'm going with robes. Plus my chapters colors are midnight blue bodies, scorpion green trim, blood red helmets, and boltgun metals.
