hey i looked over in the codex and it says that thye can get additional equipment and it doesnt say they cant have bikes, so is it legal for command squads to be put on bikes?
technically speaking you can, I think.
If you give all of them Terminator honors they should all have access to the armory. Then they can get the bikes.
It is very costly, though.
Shut up and play.
yah thats what i though thanks. lol yah it is pretty expensive just wondering though
No - you cant anymore based on how I read it.
It says under the bike desc in wargear. Also, only specialists can buy wargear so you would have 1 model w/out a bike.
Jumppacks dont have the restriction in the wargear but you still have 1 man short to get killed.
Too bad - In old editions you could. More models made obsolete.
While you can give all members of a command squad terminator honours, they can't all take equipment from the armoury. Read the 'Sergeant' and 'Specialists' sections more carefully.
Anyway, you can bikes for Veteran Sergeants, Apothecaries, Champions and Standard Bearers, if you buy them Terminator Honours. But that will leave you at least one marine who is not on a bike, so you can't move the whole squad like they are on bikes.
Thus, it is a bit of a waste of points.
BTW, the same principle applies to Jump Packs and Terminator Armour...
