I just got my new dark angels Codex yester day and i looked and i did not see any armory first off to choose stuff it is all on the char you buy and no Termi honors for any of the Heros so 3 attacks only.
Also i looked and Asmodai is gone
But it looks cool still i just wonder why the left termi honors out.
Extra armor on Vehicles is 3 times more expensive -.-
only really nice thing i see is the Master of the raven wing is redused in cost from the old codex and a bike squad can carry a standerd that gives the squadren + 1 attak to all of them all the time as wall as da re roll moral test
Hmmm i was going over it and the and i see all the company standards give +1 attack to all members in it So that means that Azrael can have 5 standard attacks +1 for a close combat weapon so that is 6 attacks 7 on charge at strength 6 but only the masters in the army can make you take the banners.
and yes i like to talke to my self. - While self-analysis is a good and healthy thing, talking to yourself (and then responding ) is not. Please, refrain from double (triple) posting in the future. - Firedrake28

Gw likes to make pointless restriction to DA armies.
I wouldn't except much out of this codex if i where you.
Just wait blood angel/space wolves players. Saver your mighty codex's while you can.
Ravenwing is dead, all is lost.
The DA codex cant be that bad ForgedInThe...., sure its different, but I've learned that with GW, just when you get comfortable with an army, something changes and makes you have to rethink things, and rebuild with a new strategy, but it all balances out in the end. Ravenwing may have suffered, but from what I hear, Deathwing gained, and so did the rest of the army. Now for those who are bigtime ravenwing players, this may suck, but for overall DA players, I have heard lots of positive things, so like I said it balances out.
Battlesuits, putting the BS in BullS*%t.
Termi honors gone = bad
Asmodai (finally) gone = VERY GOOD:w00t:
Expensive armour = bad
Master of the Ravenwing = VERY GOOD:w00t:
Banner bonuses = Seem alright
so 3 outta 5 ain't bad lol.
Marine characters are still horrendously choppy, with or without terminator honours. You're still looking at 5 attacks on the charge, which is pretty damn good.
It is a bit odd (I haven't read the codex enough to understand the justification), but at the same time it's not the end of the world. The default veteran sergeant still gets the benefit on his stat line, so you're only looking at 1-2 models who will be missing out.
(I don't take Termie honours on my marine chaplain, for example. All his special rules and the unit that backs him up means those points can be better utilised elsewhere)
I think the new codex needs a good raking over and some serious field testing. Bemoaning the changes without actually using it seems too judgemental.

The emphasis has shifted from golden guns, autopilot lists, and no brainer units. Now you have to think about what you are going to use and actually have to *gasp* put forth some effort to make things work. I'm sick of the las/plas, AC of doom, Drop Pod boo crap that's been on the rise since Codex: SM came out. I've always played 40k as a laid back, gentlemanly contest between two or more pals (beer and pretzels) rather than an online game (OMGWTFHAXORZ, I R OWNING JOO, etc ad nauseum:x ).
And note that I never said DA got weaker, because they didn't. Everything we lost was counter-acted by a gain. Overall this has made the list a whole lot more balanced and interesting. If no one unit sticks out as the obvious choice, that is a wonderful thing. It leads to more different and interesting armies, boring and cookie-cutter lists being the most common gripe against marines.
If even half of these changes make it into SM Redux I will be happy. Combat Squads, new Termie organization, and changed vehicle costs will make for a much funner marine list.
But, for those of you who feel the DA are weak and incapable of winning, go play vanilla or some other Chapter, nothing's stopping you.

If you play ravenwing, which you dont, then youd be unhappy with the changes. And note that I never said DA got weaker, because they didn't. Everything we lost was counter-acted by a gain. First of all, skilled riders is the most important ability for a bike army - gone.
Secondly, the reduced number of land speeders is quite annoying.
14 AV landspeeder is just unfluffy, not even the eldar can come up with something that powerful.
