Your Deathwatch team lacks the DW special weapons that make them awesome in the first place, no Heavy Bolters w/ suspensors or even just plasma guns, also why a Captain to lead?

Just a question Flarer, does the word Knight next to the Captain his name or the fact you want him to be represented from the Grey Knights. Because if so it cant happen. Grey Knights are Ordo Malleus as you know, and the Deathwatch are Ordo Xenos. The two never cross paths.

    But anyway:

In Deathwatch they are selected from the major Chapters not second founding, so Blood Angels, Space Wolves, Ultramarines, Imperial Fists and Dark Angels. This was a pact these chapters signed a long time ago to put there elites up for recruitment.

My Deatwatch Team look like this:

Librarian in Terminator Armour (B.A):Force Weapon and S.Boltor, Frag and Krak

DW Vet(Ultra): Heavy Boltor w/Suspensenors, Frag and Krak
DW Vet(S.W): Heavy Boltor w/Suspensenors, Frag and Krak
DW Vet(D.A): Boltor with Stalker Silencer and M.41 Scope, Frag and Krak
DW Vet(Ultra): Boltor with Stalker Silencer and M.41 Scope, Frag and Krak
DW Vet(Ultra) Boltor and Power Sword, Frag and Krak
DW Vet(B.A): Boltor and Power Sword, Frag and Krak
DW S.M(I.F): Plasma Cannon, Frag and Krak
DW S.M(I.F): Plasma Cannon, Frag and Krak
DW S.M(D.A): Boltor and CCW, Frag and Krak
DW S.M(S.W): Boltor and CCW, Frag and Krak

this is purely for my army.....

Knight is a Space marine given some Knight equipment because of his efforts in purging daemons AND xenos before he became deathwatch

and the 2 sucessor chapters were because

    1) i didnt like imperial fists and white scars

    2) my friend collects Templars and he would be mad if i left him out

    3) i always thought Crimson fists were better than Imperial fists (i liked the color scheme)

    some fluff like :

even though death watch didnt select from sucessor chapters they made an exception because these 2 individuals were highly skilled in shooting and close combat

(try and get up some names/nicknames)
oh i saw in the codex there were scythes of the emperor and some other sucessor chapter in the example kill team

id like almost each of them to have a different profile
(eg. blood angel is a very angry guy, even for BAs and the DA is like a silent sniper with kraken bolts or Stalker Silencer and M.41 Scope)

Greetings Fellow Warriors of the Emperor:

Im a staunch player of both the GreyKnights and the Space marines, both the Space Wolves and My own Vanilla Chapter, The Black Knights. I'd agree with Invictus on the Knight thing, Malleus and Xenos would likely never see each other as the Knights are only used when all else would fail. For a little Inspiration for your Team, read the Ultramarines book: Warriors of Ultramar. I can suggest alittle though, as I'm big on custom units and background fluffing too. Here we go...

    The Segmentum Obscura Deathwatch Veterns

Cptn. Uriel VentrisU.M) Powersword,MstrCrftd Storm Bolter Frag and Krak,LD.10
Captain Bannon: (I.F) Power Sword and Bolter, True Grit, WS:5
    Seargent Pasanius(U.M.): Heavy Bolter/Suspensor, BS: 5
Rannik Greyfell: (S.W) Pair of Master Crafted Lightning Claws, I: 5, A: 3
Gregor Fischig: (C.F) Power Fist, Master Crafted Bolt Pistol, A:3
Drannik Moorel: (B.A.) Powersword, Bolter, True Grit, T:5
Goeth Garen: (DA) 2Plasma Pistols, Rapid Fire(4) both if Stationary,(2) if otherwise
Librarian HelsrechD.A) Force Weapon,Psychic Hood, Bolter, True Grit, WS: 6
    Ravenor Tandor(C.F): HeavyBolter(Susp)Hellfire Ammo,Always counts Stationary
Nayl TribiunusW.S) Plasmagun, Meltabombs, Reroll 'Gets Hot" Rolls

Points work out something like this:
    1 Cptn: 50 Pts
    8 Vtrn: 240 Pts
    1 Librarian: 70 Pts

Extra Stat points: (3 points per stat) 21 Pts
    Wargear: Say 200 Pts

Heroic Captains: Squad may Re-Roll fialed Morale and Leadership Test as long as Captain Ventris, or Bannon are Alive

Diverse Tactics: Captain Bannon and Ureil amy both Seperate the Squad into two Five man squads to demonstrate their examplary and Coesivness. Team Still only Takes one Spot on the HQ of the Force Organisation Chart.

Hates Tyranid's: Led by Uriel Ventris of the Ultramarins they squad follows his headond strategy when assaulting the hated Tyranids. As such they squad, (Except for Gregor's Powerfist Attacks) Always strieka t the same time when Charging, no matter the initiative Rating.

    Points: 521

It is a bit hefty on the poitns cost so only used in longer games mos tlikely. This is a squad i have used with a few tweaks for personalization. We have play tested and foudn that it is a VERY strong unit if used by a competant commander, however the lack of Extra Wounds, Invulnerable saves, and High points cost make it balanced out in that one lucky Monstrous Creature or ordaance Blast could take out the entirety of the squad. GIve it a try all you Ordo Xenos fans!

I would go with this for just troopers:

    Dark Angels: Bolter, Power Sword.

White Scars: Bolt Pistol, Power Sword, Jump Pack (maybe)

Space Wolves: Bolt pistol, CCW, and Bolter

    Imperial Fists: ???

    Blood Angels: Two Power Swords

    Iron Hands: Power fist, Bolter

    Ultramarines: Bolter, Chainsword

    Salamanders: Flamer, Metagun

Raven Guard: Scout Armor, Sniper Rifle

Just utilising the Deathwatch's ability to have esentially any weaponry to go nuts.
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>another annoying thing i hate: 47,000 similies in one post. just thoght id throw that in there and see if anybody else hates it as much as i do.</div>
