    A substitute for a Priest...

Hey do you guys think it'd be legal to use a Sister Repentia model as a Priest if you were going for that crazy army list?

Maybe instead of Red or Black clothing for some of the other Fanatics white clothing? What clothing they do have. I'm going to give my Priests Eviscerators anyways and stick them with squads of Zealots so do you think it'd be accepted in tournament play?

Personally, I'd clothe them a little more, just to be on the safe side, as Priests should look different. Unless you're using the Priest entry to represent Repentias on a rampage. Then I guess you could just make them look different.

I want to use Repentia as a Priest because I plan to use Zealots & Fanatics, etc. mixed the Penitent Engines and Arco-flagellants I'm hoping the army to look good altogether.

I wouldn't think it would be acceptable for a WH army because they represent an option already available to the wh list. You could use figure from like the fanatic range like Necromunda eschers. I used to use them as redemtionists pre WH codex. Or you could use Sigmarites from Mordheim which is what i use.

Well not use her straight out like she is, perhaps like Imperialis_Dominatus said, put some more clothing on her via, greenstuff, a cloak or something, just in general I think the females look better then the males for some of the models anyways. At least when they're holding Eviscerators they look better then the scant priests.

Additionally what do you think of modeling Repentia as Fanatics? That should fly more easily I'd think as long as I explain that they're not Repentia.

I'd use a Repentia model that has the most of thier face covered then use GS for some robes.

    Simple and effecient.

    And maybe even Elegant! ;D

The Eschers and the Sigmarites are all female models... thats whats good about them...i have always used all female models in and sisters or WH list i've ever made.
Eschers are 40k range and Sigmarites are fantasy range.. all legal gw models and they are great... Sigmarites are actually also nuns w/ armor. check them out

I use a converted bretonnian damsel. She is female, has long robes, and aready had fluer-de-lis patterns on her. No one has ever complained.

The only two rules that you have to keep in mind are the GW-parts-only rule and WYSIWYG representation of gear and armor. I do not think anyone can outlaw your figures based on their personal taste....
