    Command Squad on bikes possible?

Aight awhile back I started a Be Swift As the Wind trait army for Marines. I'm thinking of picking it up again and was wondering if it was possible to get a command squad completely on bikes. It doesn't look like its possible but I thought I'd ask anyways.

    Do the math yourself.

Find the minimum squad size in a Command squad.

Then find who all has access to the Armoury after various upgrades.

You'll find that at least one Marine does not have access to the Armoury, so can't get put on a Bike.

So a whole Command Squad can't be put on Bikes.

Thats when you try your hardest to get that one man killed in action. People have asked this same question, but usually for jump packs.

That's a lot of points for one unit, though, and chances are, against most enemy shooting, that one man isn't going to be the only casualty..

Especially with the mixed toughness rules.

Plus it would be a VERY expensive unit no tougher than a basic marine bike squad. And who is likely to shoot and kill that one guy slowing your expensive command squad down.

I've seen it done on Jump Pack Command squads, and it's hilarious watching your opponent trying desperately to make you shoot him. It's daft as your opponent can pick of the rest of the army, and then focus everything on the expensive command squad when they please.

    And many more little blighters...

    dark angel proxy

Why not use the new Dark angel codex? You can take a command squad on bies with the ravenwing.

No you can't. Please read it before saying stuff. You just add a standard to a regular squad.
