if i equip my cannoness with a jump pack and she join forces with a seraphim squad, can i still use the special rules for the squad like 'hit and run'?
if my sisters invoke an act of divine guidance and are rapid firing bolters into an advancing squad of terminators, do the terminators get their 5+ invulnerable save for the wounds that, because of the guidance, are disallowing armour saves? it states that the enemy gets no armour save if i roll a 6 to wound - clarification on this would be nice; thanks.
Devine Guidance doesnt take away invulnerable saves, only normal ones.
so yes, termies stil get the 5+ invulnerable save
im not sure about the seraphim question though, but i dont think that they would be abale to use the special rule if an independant character without the rule joined them.
"I am the architect of fate!"
The Canoness can take the Jump Pack, but doesn't get any of the Special Rules the Seraphim get for wearing theirs. She is classed as a Independant Character.
Well, if you really want a canoness with a jump pack and hit and run ability.... get her a rosarius (4+ invulnerable save), cloack of saint Aspira (2+ armour save), Blessed weapon (Str +2), a flamer and just don't mind the extra 50 points and you have the living saint special character (has the Hit and Run ability) which can also revive on a roll exactly the same as reserves as a bonus.
Just one thing, you can only use her on a 1500 pts game or over.... ENJOY

When did Terminator's get a 5+ invuln save? Is this is a new codex or something?5+ invulnerable save
"Can you put that in a memo and title it '***** I already know!'"
Church: "Ok, so we're agreed? You first!"
Sarge: "Get on with it, Griff."
Griff: "I'd just like everyone to know: that I suck."
Griff: "And that I'm a girl..."
Church: "What else?"
Griff: "And I like ribbons in my hair, and I want to kiss all the boys."
Sarge: "This has to be the best surrender of all time."
Actually it came out in Chapter Approved a couple of years ago, to counter the abundance of Plasma weaponry available to enemies at the squad level. So now, a Terminator has either his standard Armour save OR an invincible save of 5+.
Here is a link that allows you to view / download the errata amendments to the Space Marines codex (including the definitions of Terminators on page 35). It is a PDF file meaning that you will need to have Adobe™ Acrobat Reader installed on your PC:

Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
It says in the witch hunters codex under Seraphim Squad; hit and run...
"...A seraphim squad joined by an Adepta Sororitas Heroine equiped with a jump pack does not benefit from this rule"
so.. no... i guess because she would slow the squad down, the squad could leave her and hit and run then charge back into assault.....
The other question is... yes they still get the 5+ inv as divine guidance does not effect inv saves only armour saves.
