    Question about true grit

If a moedl has true grit, can they only carry a bolter with one hand? Or can they also carry like a combi-meltagun?

Those who fight monsters should see to it that, in the process, they do not become one themselves. And if you gaze long enough into the abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.

Unfortunaely for you, the Bolter still counts as a 2-handed weapon.
You can't hold a Bolter & Combi-bolter on the same model, though why you'd want to do that in the 1st place is beyond me.

If you want a combi-weapon that takes advantage of True Grit, take a Bolter & Plasma Pistol. It'll cost you nothing extra for a Sergeant, and only 1pt more for HQICs. You also get the bonus of using the other weapon more than once.

Of course, there's no armour piercing close combat attacks, so you'd want to be giving it to ultra-beefy command squad members like an Apothecary or Standard Bearer (thoughthe squad will be expensive as all hell if you do, but what a look you'llhave).

There, that's the best you'd probably find on True Grit & combi-weaponry.

i was asking if they could carry like a combi-plasmagun and a chainsword for instance.

Take a look at the True grit USR in the BGB (pg 76 ish), it's quite clear which weapons benefit from True Grit.

Read the SM codex as also. The true grit also says the model counts as carrying a bolter weapon and a close combat weapon. You could have them carrying ccw or bayonets aswell.

You can take a Chainsword with a Combi-gun, but the True grit rule won't work with it.
Like I said, if you want a true grit combi-gun get a Bolter & plasma pistol.
