Ok I started building a Space Marine Army

I havent decided what chapter to build. I didnt see any info in the codex about army lists for different armies (for instance salamanders or crimson fists). Is this special armies info all in the index astartes?

Ok so I started gluing my guys together and I noticed there is no lascannons in tac squad box only missle launcher and flamer. I was planning on having at least 2 to 3 lascannons guys and maybe some plama guns. Where do I find these weapons or models ? What is the best/cheapest way to obtain these weapons and put them in a tac squad ?

Also so far I have 1 Dreadnought, 1 OOP Predator, and 3 tactical squads (10 models each), and a Marine Captain.

If I want my captain to have a powerfist whats the best way to model that ?
(like where is best cheapest place to obtain this fist?

Also Terminator honours ? what are they I have read you get extra bonus but does that mean your captain need to be in terminator armour? I have read through codex and I did'nt see much on how to model wargear.

Thanks in advance for any help

    Ok,
Q:1 Three chapters have their own codex books, Blood Angels, Dark Angels and Space Wolves. The other chapters such as Flesh Tearers, Black Templars, Crimson Fists are in Codex: Armageddon, Codex: Eye of Terror, Index Atartes I, II & III etc. (all other books you must buy)

Q:2 You must buy the heavy wapon marines (Las Cannon, Plasma Cannon, Heavy Bolter) Must be bought in individual blisters or bought in the Devastator Squad box set.
Plasma Gun and Melta Gun Marines can be bought two to a blister called Space Marines with special weapons.

Q:3 I am not sure about the Power fist, you might be able to get them from the Games Workshop online store. I got mine from bying bits off of Ebay. It is possible that Space Wolf box sets might come with them.

Q:4 Terminator honors give your Vets an extra close combat attack. They do not have to be in Term Armor, at least I do not think so.

about the power fist, you should check your local store. If they sell GW miniatures, they might have a bits box you can look through. Most will charge according to the bit, and their prices and polacies change from store to store (unless its a games workshop). Some may not even have a bits box.

Other than that, just buy a model that DOES have a power fist, saw off the power fist and glue it onto the model you do want to have a power fist.

    Powerfist:
order the spacewolves accessory sprue from GW, on that you get a power sword, power fist, power axe and a melta gun. MUCH cheaper than buying a model with a fist on it to saw off.

(I've ordered a bunch of those sprues myself for my templar)

If your looking for a variety of heavy weapons in yoru army..you can get 4 heavy weapons from the space wolves long fangs box. In that you get a lascanon, plasma canon, heavy bolter and multi-melta. also comes with weapons for a veteran seargeant/pack leader.
In all, its cheaper than buying 4 11 dollar blister packs
