Okay, next question:
What do you folks do about acquiring melta-guns. Do you bitz buy them from the UK (seemingly the only online store out of UK, US and Australia (where I am) that lets you buy single bitz. Do you convert? From what?
It seems to me that you'd convert flamers. That'd be reasonbly simple. Except that of flamers and stormbolters, flamers seem to be the ones you'd want more of anyway, so you'll have to go buy MORE blister packs to actually field flamers...
The simplest method would be to bitz buy them from the UK. It's also incredibly expensive. 4 pounds per bit, plus shipping (8 pounds per kilogram).
I'm keen on Sisters, but the price does concern me. How do you guys manage it?
(The reason I ask is because certainly at my store, the only special weapons blisters I ever seen are flamer+stormbolter. NEVER seen a meltagun in there. Is this the case for others?)
I get my meltaguns (whenever I need em) from Bwbits.com. They're 2 dollars each (which is about 1 british pound). Shipping is pretty reasonable as I pay about 4 or 5 dollars to get it sent from the US to Holland. They do however have a limited stock most of the time.
And, they're marine meltaguns. I don't know if they're different on witchhunters.
The difference between the two would most likely be that marines are plastic nowadays while sisters are still metal. I'm no expert but perhaps converting a storm bolter and flamer into a meltagun might work. And, they're marine meltaguns. I don't know if they're different on witchhunters.
I'm no expert I don't use regular SoBs.

I have converted flamers to meltas.
It mostly takes filing and I added a bit of wire for the power cable below the weapon.

I don't think they ever put anything but flamer+stormbolter in a blister pack.
The problem with ordering marine meltas from BWBits is the sisters models. They're all metal and holding their guns tight up against their body with no gap scultped. Extremely determined dremel work would be required to really use it.
Have you checked US direct services? They do in fact do individual bits. It's only 7 USD for the sister and a backpack to go with her. The US dollar is kinda in the toilet right now, so you might end up with a much better price than from the UK. Dunno what they're like for shipping that far, but if you want something like an Organ Exorcist or whatnot that's also hard to get, the shipping could be worth it. Can also always get someone in North America to reship things for you if you know anyone. I frequently split orders with my brother in the US, since they will ship free domestically for orders over $100. Just costs a couple $ for him to toss my bits back in the mail.

I got lucky... I did my army right as the codex came out and the local store started carrying more models of them. I would sit in the store every Friday for 4 weeks straight to pick over the Special Weapons blisters. Managed to get my 4 meltaguns without any stormbolters whatsoever. The only SB's I have are those that came in the SoB 10-pack.
Short of bits-ordering the individual models, converting flamers would be best.
