Most of you have probably seen these but thought they should be pointed out for those of you that dont visit warseer. My favourite has to be the power fist commissar.
Shamelessly stolen from warseer :ninja:

What Guardsmen dont want to hear...
"Ok boys, time to fix bayonets!"
I think they look horrible...
Also, three part ogryns and two part (even a ONE-part!) commisars, WTF?!:x
A Tau Ethereal was thought to have been killed today by a Bloodthirster. However, many Tau were seen fleeing the scene and are considered suspects.
These are great! When are they suppose to come out?
I think these are long over due, I mean we have a commissar carrying a hand flamer! I will defintaly have to get some of these when they come out, and the ogryns as well.... I have to admit that I am a closet ogryn fan.... the ide of feilding 30 ogryns on the table makes me...excited...:w00t:
"Let them come and feel the wrath of the Hammer of the Emperor! FIRE!!"

Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
Voor alle nederlanders:
The Dutch Legion
Personally I love the Commissar models, particularly the one with the Bolt Pistol and his hand behind his back. The powerfist guy dosen't do it for me so much, but in any case I think he is much better than the one in the current range.
As for the Ogryn, he is ok, but Ogryns don't do it for me generally. If I was ever to have a squad of Orgyns I would have some kind of techno-equivilent, probably work up from terminators, but the rules aren't nearly impressive enough to bother with them!
MisterDutch, the Commissars are one and two part because they are metals, hence the tabs. The reason they look plastic is because the material those particular models have been cast in is resin, which is also why they have that shiny texture which does them no favours. You can bet they will be released as metals.
As for the Ogryns, I would put money on them being metals too, but it's hard to say because there are no features like tabs that would make you 100% sure, but there is certainly not enough parts for them to be plastic, and also, why would GW go to the expense of making sprues for one of the least used IG models? I doubt any amount of love in Apocalypse will make them popular.

With the release of Warhammer Ogre plastic kits I'm sure that 40K will see something similar. Also the 4 oldest models that IG have are Ogryns, Ratlings, Rough Riders, and Commissars. I'm assuming that by the time GW gets to releasing a new IG codex that all of the listed model types will have been updated. Then again maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.
What do you call a lasgun with a laser sight?
Well, the new powerfist looks silly. The others look no better or worse than what already exists.
I like the new Ogryn. Looks like a Bone 'ead model considering the gesture.

I've been addicted to World of Tanks lately and neglecting my IG... But it is so... much... fun!
