Nice, well-priced Jewlery tools for 40K modeling.
(I really liked what I found!)
FIRST go to "www.silversmithsupply.com"
THEN hit his EBAY link (takes you to his e-bay store)
(the fact that you got to his bay store through his website saves him a little e-bay commission, and if you mention having done so, it might make him a little more generous when he combines shipping for you).
BUt he's very reasonable on shipping to begin with.
(Which reminds me of how much I hate how some e-bayers QUINTUPLE the actual shiping cost so that their item appears to be lower priced. In effect it's "PADDING" to the price, and ultimately it just makes E-Bay harder to browse, because you have to read the "fine print" to see if the shipping has been inflated to 500%, and that just penalizes all the "Honest Joes". I sometimes retract my bids from those that do that.)
Getting back on topic, I never even thought of using Jewler's tools.
Converting an ALL-METAL army requres some nice tools.
I browsed his store and bought
- 10-Packs of .75 & 1mm drill bits
- Diamon-tipped Reamers
- Jewler's vice (a friggin STEAL for 10 bucks)
- Jewer's tweezers.
- Jewler's tray carrying case.
Oh, and I also bought a bunch of cool jewlery beads for my female cousin who likes to make her own bracelets and necklaces. (Thereby giving me one less x-mas headache!)
I highly recommend his store for WH modeling.
My only regret is I wish I had known about it when I was pinning my Arcos.
(Those bastids got more blood out of me than the enemy as of yet)
