Out of curiosity, what do we do if during a battle one person gets a critical miss and then the next person gets a critical hit and critical miss? Is the first critical miss ignored and the critical hit downgraded to a normal hit?

The answer is yes

*If a 1 is rolled for a "to hit" roll then the opponent of the person who is attempting to hit gets a +1 bonus on the following action. An 11-18 is needed for a hit and a 19+ is needed for a critical hit. If a wound is scored at the same time as the critical miss it is seen as the attacker leaving an open attack of opportunity still allowing the +1 bonus and scoring a wound at the same time.
**If a 20+ is rolled a critical hit is scored and the person who recieves the hit takes 2 wounds for each 20+ rolled.
Note: If a Critical Miss and a Critical Hit are rolled in the same turn they negate each other and only one wound is scored instead of a critical hit. The person who is not the attacker does not receive the bonus for a critical miss

Default weapons and wargear.

Will there be options for weapons and wargear.
I was thinking it would be cool if when you lv. up you can purchase a special piece of wargear.

like maybe there is a general list with stuff like bolt pistols upgrade, power weapon upgrade, power armor upgrade ect...
each having different effects. you can buy one piece of wargear/upgrade everytime you level up. however certain powerful wargear would be restricted to higher level warriors. If you guys think this is a cool concept, I can share some ideas i have about specific wargear and effects.:yes:

Definitely and Unequivocally no.

Weapons and wargear limits options for character creation. It is purposefully left open for its simplicity and open-endedness.

To resolve this you could:

Lv 3- Hardened Defense - Takes one wound on critical hits and next combat roll suffers from a -2 modifier on all combat dice rolls. (Improved Armor)

Lv 3- Frenzy - +1 attack dice. (Improved Weapon)

Lv 3- Accuracy- Need 11+ to hit, crit remains unchanged. (Master Crafted Stuff)

Lv 3-Viatality- +1 Hp (Any Toughness Increasers)

We can definitely talk about adding more skills. Skills can be explained in multiple ways which is what will make them valuable
