If I ever had the time to spend chatting, I would prefer IRC to any other service especially the taskbar chat.

I don't use the chat that often, but I definitely prefered the older format, even if it did have the occasional problem.

When you say discontinued, do you mean entirely, or just the current incarnation, replacing it with a new one?

Yup, as an old fart I'm sticking with IRC for all my chatting needs. The various other versions have all sucked for various reasons. with IRC I can connect with my preferred client, and have it the way I want it, not some tiny java(!) window in a browser...

I'm a little confused if you mean the old chat room or the new chat function located in the lower part of my L-O window. The chatroom was great but I seem to be unable to connect to it now a days.

The lower chat bar however is something I was surprised to find and works very well for me !! .

So in case of the chatroom I would say Discontinue, In case of the chat bar Continue

I had tried to log in the chat room some time back but I had some problems with my PC.

And since the site is all about the hobby as we are all in here, I voted to be continued...

I know that Rogue-Market uses a Chat system, and I know for a fact that it works very well.

Not voting as I just about never use any form of chat except in online games. Still, if it's useful to someone and not overly expensive to keep going why close it?

Well, I usually use chat to talk to people who I am not freinds with if I need an opinion about something... But lately there has not been so many people on chat...

I get on the chat, say hi to people, see what kind of stuff they're up to and leave when I loose track of what's going on.
