    Rep Circles

    Hey all

It has come to light that there are some users who are forming small circles of people who are simply repping each other in order to recieve rep in return.

Obviously this skews the rep system a lot, and as per the forum rules if you are caught doing this you will have your rep set to -5.

Believe me, we are not stupid. If you rep somone 8 times in a month, and they rep you 8 times in a month, on the same days, we will figure it out.

The rep system is there to reward good posts, not to form a elite group with your friends.

Please use the system more wisely in the future. If you are unsure about what is acceptable with the rep system, more details can be found in our forum rules Here

I am completely oblivious to what this is about.

P1 - "Hey, that was a good post, here's some Rep for ya"
P2 - "Hey, thanks for the Rep, here's some Rep for the Rep"
P1 - "You didn't need to Rep me for giving you Rep, so here's some Rep for being so nice"
P2 - "Wow, more Rep, that's just so nice of you, Have some Rep"
P1 - "blah blah blah, Rep"
P2 - "blah blah blah, blah Rep blah"

If that's what's been happening, that's really pathetic

What is the point of having rep if you have not erne it? Its just stupid. Maybe it makes you look cool or something but you will always know you didn’t get it fair.
Hope there isn’t no one doing this and it there are I hope it will stop. I’m not that worried about Rep. Its a fun thing and nothing more.
Isn’t there more interesting things to care about then boosting up your rep?

Mr T pities the fool that cheats with his rep.

And yeah, these rings removes the whole idea with the rep points.

For more information on the rep system, click on the link below.

To add reputation to a user, you click on the gold star by their post, to view your own reputation, click on the gold start by one of your own posts.

Yes, that is pretty much exactly what they did.

We have eyes everywhere and will catch the cheaters.

The Rep system is not a popularity contest, there really is no reason to cheat the system.
