LO Community Ezine/Magazine

Several "attempts" on creating an ezine here at LO earlier have failed, but the idea is good and I dont even remember who came up with it in the first place. I'm also willing to give this idea another attempt. As you may have noticed the frontpage is what I would call it, a little more profesional. I bough a magazine component for Joomla last nigh and this component will help us make a good looking ezine.

The major problem is to gather articles, stories etc for each issue. I've currently set it up to publish one issue each month, meaning we will have this month (march) to collect content for the April Issue.

But seriously, I can help you with this and such. Like I said, I'm literally home all day, most of the time until 60 PM EST.

So, whatever it is you need, I'm willing to bug some people into making articles and contributing. Whether they want to or not...

Thats great, we would need as many as possible to help out with our community ezine. So articles collected in March will be made available April 1st.

If you cant write or dont know what to write about, you can also try and find articles by others and with a permission from the author we can host them.

Ill be sure to put up a new article every month then. Id also be willing to do a special section every month. Perhaps where I pick a unit, model, piece of wargear or anything really and talk about it suses, how effective it is and all that jazz. We could call it "Powergaming with Chaosbrynn".

In any case, i like the Ezine idea. Ill do what I can to help out.

I can submit some bits every once in a while.

Right off the pipeline, I can get you "The Awakening", a little Necron fluff piece (pretty generic, tho).

Me and Chaosbrynn can throw jibes at each other too, adding life to the Ezine! (Opposing view points and such...)

You should also make a post in teh Battle Report sections stating that REports that can get pictures and are nicely written can get in too.

Got Spring Break Starting up on Saturday, so I'll have some time to work on a few things.

Also if you find you get alot of articles you can always keep some in resever just incase you get a slow month (like when alot of people are taking Exams and such maybe.)

Thats a great idea MTF and battle reports with pictures are really great. I know its not many of those reports available (except from GW) So they could get really popular.

Now THIS is a damn good idea. We should try to have a Battle Report with pics every month.
