Thank you As you will see there are some duplicate items. The hills are supposed to be many different ones beucase rotation is not an option here . I just added a new tree I personaly think is better than the one you see from above. So I would like your comments on these things. I will aslo try to clean up the table somehow, maybe make a menu with all the items in so you can drag out from there, maybe an option to change the background as well |

Perhaps you could put in a "table" background. You know, indicate that you are playing on a 4X6 table vs a 4X4 table. Then you could scale the scenery to more accurately fit the game you played. But I wouldn't have the first clue how to code this. Looks great so far! Oh yeah, and lakes and individual trees would also be cool. The trees would allow you to make larger or smaller forests. |

Cool! I like the idea of this! Obviously it'll take time, but could you do a Fantasy version too?! And yes, different background colours would be cool (like green, desert, city gray, etc), and I like the idea of having all the scenery on a sidebar menu which is separate from the actual map. Although more developement is needed, it's a great new thing to have!

Currently the map is just a mix between 40k and fantasy now. Once I get it all worked out I'll split it into two maps, one for each game. I'll also add a frame/sidebar on the right where you can navigate through folders like "scenery", "buildings", "hills" etc ... Changing backgrounds between summer, winter, dessert and city is also something I've been thinking of. btw, I also got permission to use some scenery pics from wargames-scenery.com for FB. What do you think about that ? R. Last edited by Blackhat; March 15th, 2006 at 17:47.. |
