Default Face-book and LO?!

O.k. so with my newly reqwindaleded social life in college, my crazy friends have gotten me to get one of these facebook things. For anyone who has a facebook, has you ever noticed how disturbingly similar it is to LO. I mean profiles, pics, personal info(hobies music preferences ect...) friends, comments, messaging. Facebook and LO all have this in common... only difference is for me Face book is like LO without the minies(strange paradox that is).

Is LO the facebook equivalent for losers with little tin men

I thought it was an interesting parallel.

Well, LO does share many of the same features as Facebook but such sites are a lot more in-depth with regard to the whole profile aspect. You get a lot more room to type out your likes and dislikes and you can actually search for people who have similar tastes to you. Here at the LSE, people are addicted to Facebook - you can go into the Library at any given time and literally half the computers will be people checking their accounts. It's madness I tell you!

That being said, PM me your name and network and I'll add you.

Madness? THIS IS INTERNET-BOREDOM!

I just had too.

Anyways, a Swedish variant of it is very popular here, but it ain't similar in design though. People seems addicted to sharing their personal life over the net.

We ought to create a Librarium application on Facebook.. to add to all the other applications they have to add to your profile. It would be sweet to sport an LO tag on my Facebook. Then we could have groups, set up meetings, and promote the social LO.

Facebook is a social utility.. we should use it that way to really connect all LO users.
