So, what do you do?

Hey guys!

As ravenscrieg put it, in a PM, we are more than friends, we are a community. As a community I think it would be nice to know a little more about eachother! So I thought I'd start this thread so that we could all say a little bit about ourselves and get a little bit closer as a group!

I know that some people might say this stuff belongs on a personal profile, but I say who's gonna read them all?!

So my question is - what do you do outside of warhammer?

Personally I drink, party, spend time with my girlfriend, work, care for relatives, work for charities, hang out with friends and work some more!

How about you, everyone!

As for the topic, I... I didn't know there was a world outside of Warhammer! D:!!! *Has a breakdown.*

I play video games.
I enjoy both football (Leicester City (And Newcastle United to an extent)) and Rugby Union (Leicester Tigers).
I need to get back into Mountain Biking again.
Walking/Hiking.
Drinking and chatting over a few beers with mates.
Writing.
Reading.
I paintball now and then, but only Rec-ball as I can't afford another expensive hobby D:

Just moved into a new house so at the moment when I am not painting up my new army I seems to be emptying boxes and building flat pack furniture.

I do have my beloved XBox360 though, and occasionally I go airsofting at a local site (think paintball but with plastic BBs travelling at 350 - 500 feet per second rather than paint O_o )

I'm an engineering student so that takes up a lot of my time, but I've just finished my second year a couple of weeks ago so I won't have to study for a few months now.

I love playing guitar, and I've probably spent more money on guitar related things than I have on Warhammer (although I haven't actually spent huge amounts of money on either unlike some people!) I love heavy metal, especially Iron Maiden and Megadeth. I also love cricket, though I am totally useless at anything which resembles sport.

I drink enormous quantities of tea (Earl Grey, Ceylon, Darjeeling, English Breakfast, Traditional Afternoon......) and I love real ale, Guinness and whisky. Errrr....that's about it really. Oh yes, I am also working on achieving world domination. I'll get there eventually!

Thanks toastee - I think I forgot which forum I was in...I'm a fan of heavy metal myself! I have paintballed a couple of times, but I don't really have the money (especially now that my Guard need another heavy weapon team!) to do it regularly! I'm also quite a big fan of writing, when I have the time - I'm due for a slow-down in my schedule in a week or so, so watch this space!

Awsome - good luck in your new place. You are also luckt to own an Xbox360 - again, my Guard siphon all the moneis that were destined for things like that. That and my girlfriend, but that's another story!

Airsoft sounds really cool - they use airsoft stuff when they train the SAS I hear, so it must be rather exiting!

Heh heh, my father also gets his rocks off playing the gituar. Whenever I find time to go and see him I always get the demo of what he's learnt since we last met and I must confess, he is really rather good!

I'm also a tea-lover and a cricketer - I play for my village team a couple of times a week. I'm not terrible, but I'm hardly Michael Vaughn if you know what I mean - on the bright side, I have the highest average out of anybody on the team once we get to the pub...:drinking:

I'm sort of the opposite to that - I'm from Lincs but I'm at uni in Durham. Weird...
