i'll be honest. i am probably a nerd. all the people i know who play or used to play are probably nerds. most of my friends have serious problems in the head. in fact, scratch that, most of the people i know have a few screws loose. if you are like me, and consider that everyoneis strange and wierd in some way, it's hard to worry about who likes who. i know that most people who have a different sexual view to me are not like their stereotypes at all. they won't openly bother you with it, and they are sensible and sensitive when they flirt and chat. that sort of thing doesn't bother me even if it does happen, because it's not intended to offend, and i can at least respect that they know what they wanna do, even though i don't agree with it. some people i find are low enough to hide behind that excuse when acting like complete pratts. the whole "i'm the only gay in the village" thing is intended to insult and offend. i think that is weak, and should be mocked, because they are not only insulting these people, they are also putting on an act to yellow water people off, and that is real low. okay, rant over. |

Well, my town doesn't have a game hall, or any real place to game since the local game shop closed for tax fraud. But in general most people in my town are either militant anti-gay/ultra-religious zealots, militant pro-everything soccer moms, or militant "I know everything and you know nothing cause I hang out at a starbucks and don't eat meat" idiots. There's not really a good balance in my town, I myself fall into the "I don't give two s***s what you do so long as you don't hurt anyone" category So, just about everyone in my town is descriminated against.
