Fun Threads?

Ok, now I know I am double posting here, but this is probably too big for an edit. I just want to clear this misunderstanding up a little....

All I was really asking for was an explanation as to why that thread was locked. I do agree with Phobus here, it had gone too far, it was time for a new thread. Just so you all know, this thread is not (and was never intended to be ) simply an immature retaliation for my thread being locked, it just occured to me after "The Person Above You?" was locked that maybe an off-topic section for forum games would be a good idea (or at least just a simple suggestion for discussion). I hope you understand my point of view, no harm was intended, but all that has now ended up with me recieving bad rep. all because of this misunderstanding (and yes, I did come across as a bit of a moaner back there, and I am honestly sorry for that, I was being a bit of a, well, silly person ......I was just upset that my thread "Fortunately/Unfortunately" had been locked while other forum games were allowed (And yes, I know my thread was rubbish, I accept it, there was just little explanation as to why it was spam and other game-type threads were not.....I enquired about that, and that is why I ended up with bad rep. (for more spamming apparently). I do understand everybodies point of view though. If I was in the shoes of anyone else I would probably give me bad rep too. I have tried to be a good poster, and simply thought that would be a fun game which had now landed me in a situation where I am now veiwed with a low opinion (hence the bad rep.). I hope you understand that and sorry for any offense taken. You all have my humble apologies for generally being an idiot. Sorry guys, please just understand that I wasn't trying to be a moaner (Because, like you, I hate that kind of thing) I was merely making a suggestion that came out very, very wrong.

First of all it's "hypocrite", and secondly, if you read through the "person above you?" thread, you'll see towards the end that a few people post quite often (Dodge, SlickWilley, TJK, The_Outsider, IATFP....) and that the thread was becoming stale.

Here at LO spam is heavily frowned upon (especially by Phobos and Vindkall) so if you can invent some sort of fun thread that isn't spammy (for example: Votewar) then you'll be fine. If it inspires creativity, or is helpful and is gaming-related, (like Order of the White Sword) all the better.

I understand a Moderators job, I just wanted to discuss a forum for game threads, and questioned why it was considered spam (just so I don't post any more :shifty: ), which resulted in bad rep. for me....
Anyway, time to move on....There is no need for this thread any more (hint, hint )

I see what you mean, basically any kind of game thread not topic related (ie. based on warhammer etc. (despite being in the off-topic section)) or that doesn't require too much thought is considered spam right? Well, if I ever do try to invent another 'fun' thread I will make sure it is in some way thought-provoking (or try at least - I have my limits on thought ).

But yeah, I shall forget about the 'fun' forum thing. It would never work and would just be spam, and as you say, LO isn't the place for it. Until next episode, good die!
