Hey all,

Well i'm a few days off moving down to Bournemuoth to begin 3 years of drinking....I mean advancing my learning. So I wonder to myself, where are my best LO buddies going? What are they studying? I'll be studying Modelmaking for Design and Media (its what i've done best since I was a toddler....so why not I thought.)

Where will the LO'ers be flying the nest to?

Mechanical Engineering at Oxford Brookes. This first week is interminable, alternatively busty and then bone idle for hours at a time. As I write, Im sitting in a comp lab, which currently is my only access to the internet, or indeed, a working computer atm.

a few years ago I was enrolled to study Applied Science. After starting 1st semester a second time, I finally worked out that I should have gone for Applied Sociology, if only they'd offered it as a course (drinkin', partyin', clubbin', lovin') I'd have passed with flying colours. As things stood though, I was not invited back for a 3rd attempt at 1st semester.....I had a great time at Uni :w00t:

I'm at my local community college, FLCC. I hope to transfer to Nazareth College in two years. I'm studying in Humanities, probably to become a High School English Teacher or Professor.

Back to Heriot-Watt to study chemistry next week. Though most of the chemistry I'll be studying will involve ethanol and the human body.

Ahh finally one of these threads picks up. I suppose mine didnt cause i said college not Uni o well.

I am a freshmen at Bradley University (Peoria, IL) studying mechanical engineering.

I live in the crummiest dorm on campus, cant wait till next year when I can move in to the house.
haven a blast. and really really boring weekdays at the library. But thats what thursday thru saturday nights are for.

Anyway, I'm at the University of Copenhagen, studying medicine to become a doctor, in case anyone somehow missed the tons of references I've made to this fact throughout my membership of LO. :rolleyes:

For a student's job I'm currently working at one of the local hospitals - actually, I mean the 'currently' part quite literally since I'm typing this entry during a lull in the night shift I'm working right now. So far it's been nice and quiet, although I realise even as I'm writing this sentence that I'm committing a serious case of hubris and hence should expect nothing short of an emergency paging the moment I hit 'submit reply', most likely something nasty involving a serious outbreak of a bacterial epidemic since the gods of hubris just know those bacterial tests are the most difficult to perform and therefore the type of tests I prefer least of all.

Also, I look ridiculous in haz-mat gear. :blink:
