Im really into 40k but my friends arent so im trying to figure out how to get my friends into the hobby ive heard that buying and painting two armies can work but that sounds too
expensive so does anyone have any good advice I also live in a small town about 7000 so that might also limit my options.
ps. I love these smilies
Do your friends like videogames? You could introduce them into Dawn of War game for the PC.
If they like to read maybe some 40k novels are in order.
But the bottom line is if they aren't into the models/story then their not into the hobbie.
Personally it didn't take much to get my friends into the hobbie, just some cool looking painted up models on the gamesworkshop site did it.
However they main thing when trying to get a friend into the hobbie is to not state how much GW charges. That part would break their hearts.
A well painted army in its entirety is always an impressive sight.
Show them some pictures of some well painted armies or your own.
Instead of painting a whole other army, make two 400pt combat patrol armies out of your existing army or even collect 400pts of a new army for yourself that your friends con use.
It's worth a krak!
