Welcome to Librarium Online!
I have a Guard commander "Roger" who seems to roll unfeasibly flukey dice.
At the GT one year he assaulted and killed a marine Terminator Lord, once in a game vs Jigplums he managed to kill a suped up Infiltrating Chaos lieutenant (in the same game a chimera killed a glaive khorne DP!)
Does anyone else have an unusually lucky model? A model renowned in your gaming group as one to "stay the **** away from".
'Pinkie' I have a random pink Slaanesh guy who has fulfilled many roles, lieutendant, trooper joe, and squad champions. He definately has a reputation, killing off a lictor than a hive tyrant along with spawninating many guardsmen. He has rolled terribly however most of the time, needed to take out one p fist servitor, but with 5 attacks......too many drugs!
I have a sister of battle with melta gun who was a member of a bog standard infantry squad that dragged down an avatar in an assault then turned around and killed a falcon in a single shot.
I have 2
-SM Termie Chaplain
He's killed a Daemon Prince single-handedly and often times tears up any squad he gets into combat with. He also seems to have incredible skill with a storm bolter and its not uncommon for him to gun down a few MEQs or occasionally stuff like termies before charging
For the most part I only have him because I like arco flagellants, so I usually send him on suicide missions... and he lives! ;?So far with an eviscerator he's killed a land raider, dreadnought, and a necron lord
There is no such thing as a plea for innocence in my court. A plea for innocence is guilty of wasting my time. Guilty.
- Inquisitor Lord Fyodor Karamazov
I have a plasma-cannon wielding chaos dreadnought (who I should name), who is known for being unlucky. Or lucky. He has on two occassions, fire-frenzied and destroyed one of my own predators firing on the front armor (meaning - rolled 2 6s in a row, basically). He has a bad habit of getting his ass handed to him in close-combat by krak-grenade wielding marines. Let's see, I can probably count on one hand all the games he's survived and frankly, I suspect there's an Imperial Guard Conscript or an Ork Grot inside of that big armored shell. Maybe a nurgling or a mindless chaos spawn.
You'd think I'd stop using it. But no. He's always good for a laugh.
My skink hero "Skinky man", when he's not being ground in to a fine paste he'll do things like hold off fourty fear causing elite troops on his own (that was fun). On the other hand he can never kill a whole repeater bolt thrower crew on the charge... Four stregnth five attacks... One dead elf...
Up, up and away!
My dwarf lord, I don't even rune him up much he just seems to be unpheasably lucky.
aut viam inveniam aut faciam / I'll either find a way or make one.
In one game my Flyrant with warp field managed to survive, on the last wound.
Catch this, 156 heavy bolter round, and 7 autocannon rounds.
In another game he got killed by a lasgun...
My luckiset model must be my Veteran Scout Serg with powerfist. I normally run him with a full close combat scout squad. This guys have been excellent for me in many games and especially the serg.
My best game with him and the one that earned him his name was against a fellow SM player.
I sent the scout squad up the flank to tackle a Techmarine and servitors. By the time they made it to combat the serg was the only one left. Proceeded to kill the servitors, survive the techmarines attacks and kill him next turn. Then decided he wanted a bigger challenge and ran towards a vindicator. Managed to assault it in the side and blew it up! Miraclously he survived the explosion!
By this time my opponent was not happy! Shot him to bits next turn.
Due to his lucky nature he got rewarded with a combat shield as well
