That makes sense. I'm not sure how White Dwarf is structured at the moment because I haven't read it for some time. Does it have separate sections for each game system? I think that's the best way to do it, with sections for each system, styled appropriately, with an editorial at the start and perhaps a general hobby section?

Indeed. Although i also havent read a WD for a long time, i dont think thats a bad thing lol. Im trying my best to think back to the old WD style.

YTHC, thanks for the firebase name, ive been looking for that all night. All i needed was the name though and google did the rest

Anyway, looking at warseers (pitiful ) mag, its 91 pages long. At first i thought 'WOAH!', but, theirs is only released quarterly. Im looking at doing one per month or two i think.

Also Anc Fantasy is really my specialist section too so ill be most useful there when it come to writing etc. Ill let the pros stick to 40K, unless Crons come up ofcourse!

Dear All Concerned,

No problem Deci, anyone who wants to should check it out,in my opinion it is way better than WD which is what we should be aiming for.

Suggestions: (Sorry if anyone has said these already)
1. Obviously it should cover all the aspects of the game: LotR, 40K, WFB, Gothic, Eipc, Necro...
2. I think we should have something like "Standard Bearer" where every issue we either interview a different person or one person every month on a different topic. This person would have to be well known, (Kuffy, minus -t, etc......)
3. I think there should be a conversion of the moth + painting of the month selected by Rabbit or theyak
4. All the guides people have made (The Death Corps of Kreig Riders, White Power Armor, Photography) there should be one of these each month, whether its old or a brand new one.
5. Battle Reports should be INTERESTING and not biased. As opposed to a "Cleanse" mission against CSM and SM, why not a "Sabotage Supplies", "Supply Run", "Protect the Dam, or Base" etc. Stuff like that.
6. A group of writers can be given the Battle reports to rite fluff for, etc.
7. Tale of Painters and the Monthly Painting contest should be included.
8. I think the people who are in charge of votewar should put monthly (weekly, whenever the mag comes out) updates with player trees etc. kind of like those "march madness" "team trees" to show who will be in the champs...

All I can think of for now,more coming!

I can do some writing for the Magazine, whether it would be Fluff or anything else I'm up for it. Fantasy is my specialty, though I know much on 40k, Mordheim, and Necro.

This is a great idea and it would help me find a place on LO, since I just hop around contributing next to nothing.

After a discussion on Chat, what does everyone think of this:

The blue circle is the LO symbol faded (so we can write over it) and the borders are borders. The white circle will not be there, just showing the general area where we could put the VASSAL symbol or 40K symbol to specify what the page is about. This can be edited and expanded upon, just a basic drawing.

Ok, combining those two, Pickle i like the colour you have and the shape of the curvy page number bit. Thin down the right hand border so its the same kind of width as ythc's version,a nd then loose the left border edge alltogether as ythc has. Then add in the LO ventral symbol, which ofcourse ay also be a 40K, WFB etc background, and also the white circle for symbols is a good idea.
