I had an interest in doing interviews a while back, having a background in journalism and a love for interviewing people. It was difficult, as my first (and so far only) one has been with Kuffy. The idea was to spotlight an LO member. Someone mentioned that I should avoid interviewing mods, as it would look too much like pandering to the admins, which cut out a lot of people I'd have loved to interview. Also, it would have to be more a Q&A kind of thing(like the Kuffy interview on the main site), as a "real' interview would require, at minimum, a recorded phone call, which can be problematic both time and moneywise when I start talking to our friends in the UK, Oz, etc.

However, having said all that, I'd be VERY willing to create more Q&A interviews with anybody from LO whom we feel would be appropriate. Pick a subject, and I'll do the rest!

I really like the idea of a painting guide - I'm going to be building and painting my very first ever army with the help of theyak and it'd be nice to have it explained, in simple and easy to read terms, as an alternate if I want to try some of it without guidance. Maybe include on that page/area a builders guide for simple things like "this is how you glue this stuff together" or "this is how you clean up the pieces before you glue them to the base" as well. Just a thought! :rofl

That page isnt the cover lol, its just a dfart designfor the page background. The LO symboy needs fading but that should be easy enough.

Im thinking of having a WD style cover, minus the 'Look at all these great pics inside that will make you want to buy stuff!' headlines...

Well, guides aren't a bad idea. There are plenty of lovely guides stickied in the various forums, but very few with photos to go with them. Just something basic, like, "This is a mold line -- now here's how to get rid of it!" "Here's how to pin something." Stuff like that. Maybe we could snatch some of the stuff from the "articles" section, if there are photos. Pics are key.

I have been toying around with the idea of doing simple step by steps with photos... As I get the opportunity I don't mind sharing... (Really it is a matter of getting a set up and the time to take stage by stage pictures)...

I have a few guides up on my site as well as a few that are in the articles section but they are old and stale now and definitely could be expanded upon.

Let me know what is wanted and if I have the time I will be more than happy to contribute.
