LO magazine, planning and ideas

Hi guys, I'm a proffesional designer and really want to help with this project. I've been talking with Deceiver and I'm going to make a few mock-ups of a potential magazine and make some pdf's for download and you guys tell me what you think? I'm really excited to be collaborating and think we can do a great job. We should set up a day/time we all get on the chat page and talk about this together because I think it will be easier to throw ideas around that way. soooooo any good times for you guys?:drinking:

I like the idea of covering more than just warhammer and 40k. You might also try headhunt some people to help you. Do a search for warhammer 40k blogs etc and you find alot of stuff. Maybe some of them can be interested as well. The more the merrier IIRC Maybe also include some stuff from opponentsearch

As for arranging LO chat time nillic, it may be a bit difficult for us all to get on at once. I think just using any time we are on together to chat in PM, or main if its quiet, would be best.

Heey Everyone,

I would love to help with the Lo Magazine. I have a journalistic background; that could be useful. I might be able to be a editor for one of the sections in the magazine. Or write a column or other articles. Wherever I am needed, I can help.
I am specialized in Warhammer 40k, but also know alot about all of the other games (fantasy, epic, necromunda, lotr) and a little about the privateer press ones.

Hey everyone,

i know i orginally said id help out with a cover but i have suddenly had alot of things come up. You know how life goes.

That cover design is fabulous Blackhat. The aesthetics are perfect for this magazine.

I wish everyone the best with this and hope it works. It would be a great community effort.

I emailed white dwarf and they weren't interested because any pics i sent them would be their property. To that i declined.

I would be happy to do a tutorial with pics and a detailed explanation on how to make trench terrain.

Just to let people know the LOmagazine group is back up and running. I know there are a few people who want to be a part of this who havent joined up yet. If and when you do (I have to accept your join request 1st, but dont worry about that ) then you get access to an extra forum area, Magazine specific. Theres loads of old threas and things to take a look at in there and draw ideas from, and also its a good place to have all our ideas organised in individual threads.
