what do you think the last two legions were called.
who were their primarches?
could one be the greyknights - emperor as primarch?
and the other the pretorian guard?
what about the other legion?
what is GW planin to do about this in the future
The Reason the don't exist is beleive it or not is because GW didn't own the rights to them at the time ( compared to their iron fist grip on their intellictual property today ) one of those legions was called the Rainbow Marines ( ie. Gay Pride Marines ) so maybe it's for the best if they're not around.
I'm not sure but I believe the Grey Knights were produced in a one off founding ( only them founded ) because they simply weren't needed at the time of the Great Crusade.
Not this! Not again!
It seems to come up on every 40k and Marine-related forum whenever the previous thread about it has just scrolled off the first page!
It is completely unknown what these two Legions were and what were their names. Some speculate they consisted of females, but it is completely unproved.
Also, the rainbow chapter marines, was a chapter, not a legion. They are still around in the codex astartes,(though the colour scheme is changed) and were never a legion. The were called the rainbow warriors, Greepeace anyone? I see it now, the rainbow marines trying to save the larger tyranid species, placing themselves between them and the imperial guard....
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel allright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace, and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
Goblin kroozade of revengyness: win:19 draw:10 loss:9
plus the Rainbow Warriors were wiped out by the sisters of Battle..not sure why though..the only fluff i can find on the chapter leads up to where they're stationed on some unimportant backwater planet and left to mold over
Wow I didn't know that the Imperium supported fruity marines...

Not the Grey Knights. The Grey Knights were created from the Emperor's geneseed: They have no Primarch. Rainbow marines were kind of weird, maybe Andy Chambers was a little off when he thought them up.
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>another annoying thing i hate: 47,000 similies in one post. just thoght id throw that in there and see if anybody else hates it as much as i do.</div>
They were thrown together to shut up a Rogue Trader, seems a little fruity doesn't it?
From what I read of a similar topic on another thread, why there is two gaps in the Legios is really simple. Games Workshop left them there so gamers like us can create our own legions that can fit in those gaps. Really it is that simple and explainatory. Games workshop wanted us to go far and behond with our imagination in the hobby, so those gaps are open to this imagination.
