I just thought that amid all the complaints and little niggles that we have, I would take a second to just step back and say: thank you GW.
While we won't always like everything they do and some things are really rather irritating, I think it is important to remember that, at the end of the day, GW give us several fantastic games that are appreciated the world over. Their products are extremely high-quality, their staff are hobbyists, not salesmen, and the overall ethos of the company is aimed at providing players with the most enjoyable experience possible and that is something practically unheard of in our society.
I am not saying that GW is perfect, or that we shouldn't complain about things, by any means. But GW give us a far cry from what the hobby could be - instead of being in my room, not daring to venture out to my nearest store because they will con me into buying something, I am adressing fellow gamers, from New York to New South Wales to voice my thanks, support and pleasure - and this is all because of GW.
So from me - thank you Games Workshop
I second that motion!
Some things GW does are annoying but on the balance of everything they have given me years of enjoyment through their products. Too much negativity on here sometimes- but then again what would an internet forum be without moaning?

End of the day it is us who sit here and wait in anticipation for the next thing to verbally bash, but over all the games, rules and miniatures in their entirety are a thing of beauty. One must also note that unlike a lot of other games, GW doesnt make all your old things obsolete when they redo an army/rules.
That in itself is what i am truely grateful for.
Aye, I send that emotion!
We've been dissing GW for quite a while now, most of the reasons I can understand, but it is the company have has given us our most favourite hobby is it not?
