Just watchin some of the Sharpe films - starring Sean Bean
and the thought occured to me that Ursaker Creed is stunningly the same is the same as Richard Sharpe - both low born, worked their way up through the ranks to become strong leaders in their respective forces.
plus Jarren Kell has sworn to protect Creed and is still a seargent, in the Sharpe films/books seargent Harper swears to protect Sharpe, is a strong leader, stays a seargent and takes many wounds to protect Sharpe.
I dont have a clue what your talking about. Who is sharpe? I know kell and the other guy but who are these other two your talking about.

Lol, those Sharpe movies are awesome.
Ya, that does sound kinda similar. Could be true (although the Sharpe story probably isn't the only one like that). But if it is, that's pretty awesome of GW.
Oh, it also makes alot of sense seeing that the GW guys are English, and they LOVE Sharpe down there. It made Sean Bean's career, it did.
And for the record, Sharpe is a series of movies about an English General (Sharpe) during the Napoleonic wars. Great films.
I haven't heard of Sharpe, but it sounds typically GW to take things from other sources. They take good stories and characters, and put them into the 40k and Warhammer World setting. There is very few things in the 40k universe that isn't somehow stolen from somewhere else.
Ave Dominus Nox!
Point in case being in the Sabertooth Games 40k CCG, theres a Sergeant Horvath card.
"It fits like clothes made out of wasps!"
