OK My friend has played this same person over and over who has a Mech Tau army. He has space Marines and after telling him about this AMAZING website he asked me if he could post for him since his computer is out of commission right now.

He is trying to beat a mech tau like I said before and with the troubles I've had with the game so far I'm of no use to help with making him a good army when I can't make one myself.

He has almost any unit/model you can think of so you can be creative with the army list if you wan too.

32 Grey Knights in power armour, 5 Grey Knights in Terminator armour, and 45 Imperial Guardsmen. Almost 100 models for a Daemon Hunters army, and plenty of anti-tank to support the anti-infantry prowess of the Grey Knight infantry. It may seem like a ton of Guardsmen, but at the end I had an extra 100 points, so it was either a fourth anti-tank squad with a Lascannon or a couple extra Grey Knights. I think the Lascannon will prove to be more useful.

You said at least two Land Raiders, so I figured, why not shoot for three? You have three squads and three Transports, and you have a few Psycannons to help your Assault Cannons and Lascannons (from the LRC's and LR) take out some lighter tanks. The two Elite squads run in the Falcons, and the fast (and difficult to take down) skimmers should give your buddies a worry. They should also able to not only catch those pesky Crisis Suits, but instant kill them as well. Hope you like it!

Thank You so much for the list. I never thought about using the fire dragons against the crisis squads. And normally I run the harlequins with a shadowseer, so hopefully now they can be more productive.

May I humbly request a 1,500pts Witch Hunters list? I'd like the emphasis to be on the sisters of battle if possible, but if arco-flagellants or penitent engines could wriggle their way in that would be super.

This is one that got lost in the old thread, so I'll toss it back up as I'm interested what someone else thinks =). I have a rather interesting tournament coming up. I have some ideas, but like I said, wonder what someone else would do with it.

That army is Vampire Counts, 2,000 pts, and it must include all of the models listed below in the list (none of them can be left out to use for summoning later etc.)

We tried to get some fluff going in there, so you essentially have an HQ and a lot of Troops. The 6-man squad of Daemons is so that you can use the new plastic Daemonettes if you want; same for the 8-man squad for Bloodletters. CSM are pretty CC by nature, but hopefully this will give your opponents something to worry about!

Using everything from the previous list, all we added was a Greater Daemon, another squad of 7 Lesser Daemons (Plaguebearers), and another Rhino squad to max out your Troops (fluff rules!). Then some squads got beefed up to get more Marines and more special weapons in there. You have a grand total of 58 models in Power Armour, 6 Rhinos, 1 Greater Daemon, and 21 Lesser Daemons. A force to do any Dark Apostle proud!
