Do most of you have regular gaming groups, or just play at stores and tournaments and other events? If you have a gaming group, I'd like to hear specifics about it.
My group is made of seven high school juniors in the Minneapolis area. Here are the specifics of what we have:
-Has: Daemonhunters, Adeptus Mecanicus (IG), Empire
-Had: Necrons, Black Legion/Lost and the Damned, Cult of Slaanesh
-WIP: Chaos Dwarfs, human steampunk army for WFB, Farsight Enclave
-Has: Witch Hunters, Vostroyans, Vampire Counts
-Had: Tau, High Elves, Lizardmen
-WIP: Steel Legion, Khorne Daemons (40k), Kanak Skulltakers, Orcs & Goblins
-Has: Blood Pact, Dwarves
-WIP: Iron Warriors, Skaven
-Has: Necrons, Black Templars, Wood Elves
-Had: Eldar, Tau, Tomb Kings
Between us we've got four full-size (4'x8' and 5'x8') boards and a 2'x2' board for combat patrols and stuff, and another one under way. Most of the boards are portable.
So what about you guys? Comments on the above are welcome, but also I'd like to know what other people have got going.

Thats a lot of "hads"
My "group" is 5 friends who started playing Pen and Paper and moved into table top. Pretty much all of our armies are WiP, though I suspect that we are a kind of WiP forever group.
Tau, Tomb Kings
Had Night Goblins
Space Wolves, Orcs and Goblins
Ogre Kingdoms, Eldar
Dwarves, Sisters of Battle, Tyranids
We don't meet that often, way less than I would like. Usually at a local store or my place(only 4'x8' table in the group).
For the greater good, my will be done!
Tau- 4k~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Tomb Kings- 2.5k
Thousand Sons- 1850 ~~~~~Night Goblins- 900
I am a member of a gaming group in my local town.
It's o.k but i find a lot of people don't think they
need a painted or even built army to play. I don't say anything
but it's kind of disappointing to see so many unpainted armies
beeing used. I even took part in a large game and had most of my army
blasted apart with plastic lunch boxes posing as hammer heads.
i am hoping once i am settled in my own place to start my own small
gaming group. But im and more a colletor and painter rather than a gamer
so games only play a small part of the hobbie for me.
I AM BOOMER!
In Raleigh we've got a really good gaming store and group. In the last league we had:
Space marines - 7
IG - 2
Eldar - 4
Inquisition - 3
Chaos SM - 3
Nids - 3
Orks - 3
Necrons - 2
Tau - 5
I can't really give you a breakdown of what other armies people have. My two good friends that I play pick up games with, one has just Tau and the other has Necrons, Sister's, and Chaos. I personally have Marines and Nids.

I don't have a local gaming group, but a few friends that I meet up with, and will be in more contact with when I move back up north.
Me - Tau, Orks, SM, DH
Player 2 - CSM, Orcs and Gobbos
Player 3 - CSM, Nids, Dark Elves
Player 4 - EVERYTHING o_o
Player 5 - Eldar, SM, Nids, Skaven
Player 6 - Tau, Space Wolves.

We are a few, have a gaming club here. Used to be a lot more, though.
Eldar and Sisters of Battle for 40k.
Empire and Wood Elves for FB.
Ophidians and Achéron for Confrontation.
Khador for Warmachine.
Lots and lots of other models for lots and lots of games, but those are not played activly.
Chaos for 40k.
Cryx for Warmachine.
Also lots and lots of models for random games.
Orks for 40k.
Skaven for FB.
Pirates (yarr!) for Warmachine
A few Confrontation bands.
Again, lots and lots of models for random games.
Chaos for 40k.
Chaos for 40k
Player 6 & 7 (twins):
Lots and lots of FB armies
Cygnar for Warmachine
Skaven for FB, although he is not playing them at the moment.
Player 9 (somewhat inactive):
Space Marines for 40k
Lots of FB armies
Player 10 :
Brettonia for FB
Wolves for Confrontation.
Player 12 :
Cynwäll elves for Confrontation.
Orks and Black Templars for 40k.
There's a few that have not really begun playing any too. And I might have missed someone.
Generally though there's a lot of variation, which is both good and bad due to we get lots of different, cool games played but we got no real focus which kinda hurts or community.
I go to a local independent game store on the Monterey Peninsula in California. I see every army, even Dark Eldar on occassion (and one guy just got a Sisters army going). We have a couple military schools in the area so lots of players pass through. Terrain is a bit lacking, though, the store has had bad experiences with elaborate pieces.

At the club I go to, people mostly play FoW, Warmachine, Hordes etc etc etc.
(sorry, just wanted an excuse to use that smilie)
As for the 40K players:
*CSMs and Orks (though he barely plays 40K)
*Eldar (LOs very own Craig Johnson)
*Me (Eldar and =I= Guard)
You learn to get tired of facing 3+ Saves veery quickly.
The WHFB group includes:
*Lizzies (including a >500pt Slann Mage Lord who I beat last week!)
*Chaos (mostly Mortals, owned by our very own Binz)
*Me (WEs and Empire, looking at OKs)
Here we get a little more variety, I enjoy WHFB there more than 40K tbh, even if for the variety.
It just occured to me that I'm the only one with 2 or more armies;?.
I still need to beat AFG, and i have a game against a dwarf player next thursday.
Next time i wont go so easy on your empire troops!! *cackles evilly*
