Lol, very cool, I am liking the Bolter!
Not bad so far, but it needs some =][= bling, maybe a rosette or two, or some trim along that hood?
Keep up the good work!
*Cough* Nerd! *Cough*
Nah, just kidding, looking good, it needs skulls and embroidery on the coat, perhaps some =I=, or latin script!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
Voor alle nederlanders:
The Dutch Legion
Wow, very nice!
I agree on the needs more =I=, or just small details - prayer beads, more purity seals and the like.
Apathy is its own reward...
Pretty nice. I'd argue about the size of the bolt pistol prop, though - it looks too small by at least a third.
Phhhhh...what a nerd. I look SO much better in my Commisar costume. Chainsword and Laspistol FTW.
I'm Solid Snake...also, I'm a Primarch.
I agree that it does need some more detailing. But if I'm right- that's the Highwayman's coat from ByTheSword, and that sucker runs about $180
But the bolt-pistol could certainly use an upsizing, and I'd repaint the blade of the sword to look like some real metal. But a few skulls, some embroidery, and some more =][= gear never fails to get the point across.
Personally, I think the bolt pistol is just the right size, without looking redicoulously huge. I scaled it down slightly, so it wouldn't look like I needed two hands to hold it
Please note I have small girly hands, with gollum fingers
Today I found some red velvet ribbon in town, which will be perfect for the trim.
Prayer beads sound like a really cool idea, and shouldn't be too difficult to make.
The coat is a Frock coat from the LRPstore, a UK based website for LARP kit.
More =][= stuff wouldn't be too much of a bad idea, so I may add some in various places (Corners, cuffs, etc.)
As for re-painting the sword, it's a Medlock sword. If anyone else has Medlock weapons, then you know how much of a big deal it is, so there shall be no re-painting. It's the Harley-Davidson of the LARP weapon world
Thanks for the suggestions so far guys! Keep 'em coming
I just agree with what's already been said. Make it more elaborate, like sigils, scripts, documents etc.
how about a Familiar while you're at it? (a flying servo-skull)
