I'm really suprised at 11 LATD players...as they don't exist anymore. I suspect some of those voters just play rebel guard.

LaTD represents one of the more interesting armies of 40K.

Even though GW don't necessarily support it, they can't 'erase it' and have no right to determine what does and doesn't exist anymore.

Getting into the mindset of taking GW's word as gospel is pretty dangerous.

GW has always flourished with creativity, so stemming that is kinda counter productive.
I've always thought of this as MY hobby, with GW only providing a rough idea or indication of how it should be played.

The Lost and The Damned definitely exists, and should be encouraged - regardless of GW's support at the time.

Yeah, they are pretty cool. I'm sure there is still a little support for them, considering things like that appocolypse data sheet that was full of zombies. Sure LatD aren't legal in tournaments anymore (yet), but I think they will be in the future... maybe if chaos ever gets the same treatment space marines do with a supplimentary codex for some of their armies wiith fluff that makes them too unique to be respectfully represented by the current CSM codex. /crosses fingers

very interestingly - take a look at the 'which opponent do you WANT to fight thread'

You'll see marines at the top.

We live in a world of supply and demand. There are a lot of marine players, but respect to them.

The rest of us want to fight them.

well, i voted nids, seing as myvurent army is an apocalypse sized tryanid army, but in the past iv collected imperial guard, tau(back in the days before they became the tau empire ), kroot merc's, world eaters and word bearers, so i think those armies shud all be included in the poll

Marines (Raven guard), chaos marines (thousand Sons) and Tau(mech) for me. Used to have Nids, templars and daemons, but the construction of those armies sort of took a fall when my money started to run dry

I'm surprised that there are so many eldar seeing as there are very few eldar players (including myself) in my region, but I guess that can change region to region.

I am also starting up a nid army as I had just inherited a small amount of nids just about equivalent to the size of the nid battle box plus some.
