At GT is it how strict are they with; only gamesworkshop models?
I have a friend who's going eventually and his imperial guard is all gamesworkshop, except every head in the army has been replaced with a non-gameswork head, they kind of look like WWII head, could be USA or german. Think that'd be ok?
From what I've heard, they're pretty damn strict. Unless it has the look of being sculpted, they'll pretty much disqualify any bit that isn't theirs, especially if it's something major like every model's head.
But I'm not speaking from first-hand experience.
Never have been to GT and don't ever really plan on going to one, but sometime ago I did hear that a model was considered legal only if more than 50% of the model is GW parts. So heads constitute less than 50% of the model so I'd say they're good. I think there's a rules pack you can get. Try googling GW GT rules pack and see what you come up with. You should find previous years rules somewhere.
