so what I've managed to get done is....
The battery is 2 aa (3 volts) leading to the switch, the switch then leads to the motor, and from the same prong the positive of the LED is attached, the motor and LED negative wires go to the back of the battery pack.
And thats the circuit.
This is the smallest motor I can find but it is WAY too fast for what I need. I want something that is pumping maybe every second or so, I do have some lego gears, but not enough to slow this down to a regular speed.
Turns out the video was too dark, even though it looked like it was lit fine on the camera.

That is the setup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, so far all I've figured out is that a 15000 ohm resistor cuts all power out...
