In a thread I read recently, someone made a quick kind of "throw away" comment during a post that indicated actor Will Smith plays 40k, and has an Imperial Guard army. I have no idea how true this is, but it prompted this question:
Does anyone know of any notable people out there (actors, authors, musicians, politicians, etc.) who play tabletop games of any kind (40k, WFB, Warmachine/Hordes, etc.)? If you know of any, or at least have heard rumors about someone famous being a gamer, it might be fun to post it here.
Naturally, if at all possible, cite your source, and don't just blow smoke. Also, it might help to say who the person you're referencing is. Just because YOU think they're famous, it doesn't always necessarily make it so (hence the "actor Will Smith" I typed above).
"The internet perceives censorship as damage, and routes around it."
The only famous gamers I know of are D&D players. Amusingly enough, the P.R. reps of these famous people advise them against making their love of the games known due to the damage it would do to their reputation (though Vin Diesel did enough of that on his own).
I'd imagine tabletop game-loving celebrities run into similar advice.
The Sultan of Brunei's son played Warhammer, not sure if he still does when he's free from playing polo and chasing girls in one of his Bentleys..
I have heard rumors that Robin Williams plays, however, I have always read them in threads like this.
I'm Solid Snake...also, I'm a Primarch.
Haha, yah I saw pictures of one of the sons of the royal family of Brunei playing - he has something like over a hundred thousand of points of miniatures. One wonders if he commissions people to paint them for him!
"Not Another Step Back! Death to the Enemies of Man!"
iv seen that picture before myself, he blatantly commisons people!
PROUD TO BE IN THE BRITISH ARMY.

Shame Robin Williams doesn't play Orks - 'Mork and Mindy' would have been a meme by now!

Billy Crystal, Stephen Colbert, Jennifer Lopez. DnD is usually the game talked about though, I think it's more famous than Warhammer.
