I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the box set Daemons of Chaos Spearhead contains round bases in addition to the square bases?
There is a 40k version and fantasy version. If the box has a Soul Grinder in it is had round bases.
Joe Peshi (lone wolf) kill tally:Lash Sorcerer, Ghazkull, Yriel, Termi Libby, Vulkan.
So the fantasy version doesn't have round bases inside? I'd like to know for sure, maybe from someone who bought it or saw the inside.
I think it only comes with the square ones. GW rarely gives out extra pieces, and i fyou are 40k they want you to buy the 40k version of the spearhead which costs more money. I could be wrong tho.
I bought the Fantasy Spearhead (plan to use them for 40k and WFB though) and it had both the round and the square bases. I'm using the square ones since I'm more interested in Fantasy, but both were given in the box.
The 40k Spearhead was sold out at my FLGS, so I can't tell which it had in it (I heard it only has round).
Awesome, thanks man.
Yes, it has round bases. This is most likely due to someone sending the department that prints the boxes a picture with round bases for the front.
If they don't have round bases, that's just misleading.
Just to add to this thread. I bought the Chaos Daemons spearhead (for 40K) and it didn't have square bases (except for Hounds), only round ones.
Despite the excess of bases featured in all boxed sets/blisters, GW tends to only ever gives out bases of the same type. So everything is either round or square (with the CDs, I believe it's round with nothing else. That's how it is with the Spawn).
