I'm currently running a small 40k league at my hobby shop and we're playing on 4' x 4' tables at 1000pts. I used to play a lot of 1750pt games and some 2000pt fantasy games on 4' x 8' tables. Just curious as to what people usually play on or prefer when playing 1500-1850pt 40k and 2000pt fantasy games. The 4' x 8' tables or the 4' x 6' tables. Would like to know when I want to do bigger games in store so I can prepare. Thanks.

I find that for a 1500 point game (in 40k) 4x6 is plenty of space for tactical movement.

this is coming from someone who uses 3 leman russes 2 chimera and around 60-80 troops at 1500 points (i stil have plenty of room in my deployment zone)

4x6 is fine for 2000 point fantasy, but if you have space for a 4x8 by all means go for it, gives you extra space for if you have a big game
