Well I am working on my ethereal model and I use some super glue to attach some pieces to the base. I use a little too much glue and wipe it off on my newspaper I am working on. I see I missed a little something on my model so I pick up my paint brush and dab it with a color so lovingly while the glue dries. I put my paintbrush down and check my model over. I look to the two shield drones I am also working on and pick up my paintbrush again and dab some color on them as well. I place my paintbrush down again . . .
Somehow I just glued the paintbrush to my hand. I literally had the brush stuck to my index finger and hand to tear it off taking some of my skin withit. I dont know how many times I have glued my fingers together or glued myself to the model. They should ban me from using it, it really is bad for my health to continue to use the stuff.
How about anyone else or am I the only one superglue challenged.

Ah yes, the old superglue screw-up. I myself have had many crusty fingers and peeled skin due to the wonderful concoction that is Krazy Glue. It's oh so much fun when you're missing pieces of your finger! <_<

Yea thats happened to me. Glued two fingers together once also when i was making my landraider glued my hand to that. And the worst of all i glued an ork shoota to my finger and i could not get it off for about a day. When i finally got the courage to rip it off it took half my finger with it, there was blood and everything, i must be the only person in the world to get a blood wound from an actual ork shoota.

LOL!! i can do you one better!!! when i was working for GW one day the glue lid got stuck to the cap bottle.. and they were gonna write another one off and i was like "hold on ill fix it" thinking my self the hero i put it in my mouth and bit down and twisted... well the whole damn nosel came off pouring glue all over my tounge!! so i started running around like a chicken with my head cut off screaming "my tonn my tonn"
funniest thing ever... so i hear.
ive done difrent occasional mishaps with glue, and once I manage to glue a scarab to the back of my hand, didn't notice for about a day, at which point I ripped it off (with some skin) and had some nice things to say, the other was glueing a necron arm to my head.... I dropped something on the ground and bent over to pick it up, and my head hit the table where a the arm of a necron with wet glue that fell off was, weee that was fun... got it off before it could dry thankfully.
Know what you mean, the nice liquid "flow everywhere" super glue is good for attaching parts... but even better at sticking fingers together...
I've never experienced a paintbrush attached to my hand, but I have experienced something similar...
When giving a good glue blob on some parts I put them together, but the glue won't work at first, so I hold it together... wait for about 1 minute, then let go...
Ofcourse the parts fall apart, not sticking a bit.... only hanging from my fingers... which are too stuck to each other...
That's a nice experience...
well i rarely have glue accidents but i always cut myself with modelling knives and manage to get paint all over myself but the worst is when the glue wont actually glue the model together but seems to bond your fingers in 3 seconds.

I hate it when Ive spent hours painting a model, and I accidentilly get glue on my finger then i touch the model and it pulls off a chunk of paint RaRRghhh

Hmm, never experienced that...
One of the biggest problems I have with glue is when I have to make field repairs to my models. The gluing goes fine but afterwords the glue tends to make a really matt white coat around the repair...
If you have ever got Isopropanol or something like that on your fingers, then you know what I mean... what is making the white stuff?
Yeah I've had glue in my mouth & I agree that it totaly sucks.
I've had to cut my fingers from a table before. The first one took a bit of skin ( a bit, more like my fingertip ) So with the next fingers a cut into the table leaving me with attractive little wood chips stucks to my fingertips.
oh what a joyous time it was removing them.
