    Bad moulds?

Dunno if anyone can shed some light on this for me, but im out of ideas so I thought I would ask here.

Recently i bought a unit of white lions from a GW store. Now there not not in bad shape except half there face, specialy the eye on there left, has zero deatail. Infact it looks like its just got a lump of white metal over it. Does anyone know if i can take these models back? Usualy i would get around it somehow but its directly over the eye socket? Any idea's guys?

I don't think you can do much there, but then again, I've never had any said models so I have no idea if it's your batch, or the whole thing.

Personally, I'd take them back because you really have nothing to lose (except a lawsuit if hey were made by fraud). Barring that, I'd pull out a knife and chop away at them to hopefully improve it. When painting, I'd try not to draw too much attention to the face (I do that anyway, since I'm that bad and painting faces).

If you've got a problem with the quality of the moulds, take a pic of it and write to GW. Inform them that you've got faulty moulds on your minis.

If I were you, I'd do it. As GW will take stock of this situation (especially if you've got photographic evidence), and the problem of having a disatisfied customer is bad news to any company. Send them a professional letter detailing what is wrong with the mini. attaching the pics. to prove your disatisfaction, they will eventually send you another blister to replace it.

You'll never know, they might give you something extra!

GW won't know if anything's wrong with their products. Unless you, the customer, informs them.

    Hope this helps

    Yep, take them back.

I'd be truly surprised if the staff didn't replace them if the were really miscast. Miscasts do happen frequently and are often missed. If they don't replace them then let me know.

GW takes huge pride in the quality of their customer service. That is one thing you can tend to rely on. Ridiculous prices, sometimes rushed rules, but if you're not happy with a product, they tend to be quite good from what I hear.

Bring it right back to the store you got it from and show it to them. They will replace it for you if it is miscast. I had it happen to a friend and GW was really cool about it.

    heres a piccy

The one on the left is the good one, the one on the right is the bad one. Typicaly it has light reflecting right off the eye, but you can still see it

I'll try emailing them and see what happens, i recently broke my leg so getting to and from town without someone to drive me there is a pain.

    Thanks for the help guys

Good stuff! That's what I like to hear. GW really are good about that sort of thing.
