Due to various reasons I got fed up with IE7 as a web browser and switched completely to Firefox as my default web browser. As I'm poking around my usual websites, relishing in the lack of browser lockups and crashes, I decided to hit the GW website for some info.
Now in the past I was always frustrated by how slow the GW website was. Parts of the page would take 5 seconds or so to load and the new site interface (be it flash or something else I'm not familiar with) would require me to hit the small pictures multiple times before it loaded the product preview thing.
Today I went to the GW site and it loaded in about 1/10 the time and the website responded to every click. It just floored me that Firefox was handling the website so much better.
I was curious if anyone else has had IE7 issues with the GW website (the US one)?

I use Firefox yet I still get crashes and freezes. Anyone know of any better browsers? Anyone have any experience with Netscape?

That's the magical world of Microsoft for you...
I'd suggest just going all out, like I did, and ditch Microsoft altogether... Linux FTW!
if you are still getting crashes with firefox perhaps your computer is the problem? I've maybe had one or two crashes for the length of time I've been running it and when I re-opened firefox, it just remembered where I was and no harm was done.
