Im starting a 40k army and Im not sure what to do. It's almost Christmas and I really need to hurry up with my wishlist!
The choice for starting Orks is obvious, I could have a reasonably large force in the Assault on Black Reach and with the amount of Marine players at our store swapping some Marines for Orks or for some $$$ would be easy. I was also thinking of how easy they are to convert and play.
With the Tau, the thing I like is I could come up with my own scheme and they look like some conversions could be done too! If I did do them I would do a heavy mechanised list with no Kroot whatsoever. The only down sides are my cousin wanted to start Tau and he did, but got really fustrated with the amount of options for Tau, basically shoot, fall back, shoot, fall back and said it got very boring quickly and was like a chore. Plus the Tau have evil blue human things inside!!!!!!
I want to start an Eldar army and have them on some City Ruins bases, while I guess I couldnt really convert them as much as the other armies, they look like a lot of fun to play and I absolutely adore most of the models. A guy at our Hobby Centre is plays Eldar and he said he would help me building one if I wanted to start. If I did I would choose a Craftworld and create my own scheme. The only problem is I've came up with a scheme for my Guardians, Farseer's, Autarch's, Rangers, Jetbikers and all those Tanks, but Im not sure whenever to carry that scheme over to my Aspect Warriors [which I plan on having a lot off] or do a new scheme for them, on which I have basically no clue on.
So yeah I'm going to start one of those amies, and Im not sure which. From any [Ork, Tau or Eldar] players could help me I would appreciate it in choosing.
