Really a 2-part question.
1. What are your gaming-related resolutions for 2009?
2. Did you achieve your gaming resolutions, if you had them, for 2008
I didn't have any gaming resolutions for 2008 as I recently got back into the hobby and relaunched my website.
For 2009, I want to finish my Ork and Tyranid armies and significantly add to the number of articles and "how-to's" on my web site
I wasn't playing this time last year (had a break), but for this year it's a fully painted 2000pts Chaos army for fantasy (by the end of march). And to learn how to use it well.
I didn't have any for 2008, but I suppose my main 2009 ones would be.
Paint my Big Daemon,
Paint more of my Chaos Armies,
Stop starting so many new Armies,
Start playing Warhammer Fantasy,
Stop spending so much money on warhammer.
Thats probably be about it, we'll see how many I manage.
Rork: In the dark future of the 41st millennium there is only friendship.
Fenrir: and magic.
Kaiser-: My Little Chaos Marine, Friendship is Heresy?
I didn't have any for 2008.
My 2009 resolutions would be:
Finish my 2000pt Ork army, of which about 500 is currently complete.
Start a Chaos Marines or Eldar army
I don't have any for 2008 but for 09 it would definitely have to finish painting my three army's and stop buying models until i finish them all.
I will try to actually KEEP my hobby desk clean.
My second is to only allow two in progress models on my desk (one of these choices can be taken up by an assembly line of no more than 5 figures for a maximum of 6 on the bench at a time.)
P.S. Iffy, you are going to put said articles on LO as well, right?
How dare you speak out against LO! I shall beat you with a giant inflatable duck and then ban you to the lowest level of hell! ~Karmoon
My recruitment link!
None for 08 as like many, I was getting back into it all. As for 09, I aim to complete ToP II, and, rather more modestly, win a game of 40K :-)
I don't really like to set resolution, too much pressure.......I can't stand the pressure man......it's just too much for me.....ahhh!
Sorry sometimes the crazy guy in my head gets ou.......nevermind but really I don't like resolutions because you usually set them too high and feel overwhelmed and then if you don't reach them you feel bad, so no no I do not.
