As the name suggests my current box isnt really working for me. i currently have all my infantry models in a sort of tackle box and everyhting seems to break magicly. I have another box which could work, but i would need some foam trays and the one thing im worried about is it not being big enough or it being to awkwardly sized.
It has 3 large compartments, but one is currently holding all my tanks, and other large models, so the other 2 would be dedicated to troops. Both sections are 12"x 18". The smaller one is 3.5" tall and the larger one is 9".
My cuurent models consist of:
21 plauge marines
60 saurus (20 with halbreds)
And will soon be adding some Warriors of chaos.
My question is, would my case be big enough and also, are trays made that would fit in it and where could I find them. Im not afraid of models sharing slots, i just wanted something a little safer than them all crammed in a tackle box.
Games Workshop make figure cases in different sizes. Also there is Figures in Comfort and Battlefoam.com
Quorn! - Protein for the Protein God.
Kaiser rushforth are also good, they sell individual trays too in a range of sizes.
http://www.armyroster.com Check out my ToP WIP in the projects section!
I currently have a Feldherr carry case, but i've heard great things of the Sabot cases.
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

I ordered a double aluminium case from KRmulticase.com and so far my dealings with them have been superb, they also offer free shipping worldwide which is a plus if you live in Europe like I do.
I was very much in doubt about what trays to pick, so send them an email and was able to get a very good setup from that.
It should be said that I haven't received the case yet, so my opinion of the company might change!
Intersponge, Feldtherr and others looks promising too and from the looks of thing all offer superior solutions to the gw case.
If money is not an issue battlefoam.com offers really sexy customized trays, only downside is the long delivery time.
Good luck with your purchase !
I too would recommend KRmulticase.com (Kaiser Rushforth). Fair prices for what are nice cases and the good service that you receive.
I cannot plug KR Multicases enough. They are a superb company, having dealt with them twice now, I have nothing but good to say about them.
The case structure can be a little confusing at first, but as mentioned, if you email them they are more than happy to give you some advice and help with how you want to place things.

Fenrir: and magic.
Kaiser-: My Little Chaos Marine, Friendship is Heresy?
Aye that is so far my only issue with the company, I feel their site could be easier to navigate and the explanation of sprues could also be slightly more clear.
I felt a bit thickheaded at first but finally worked it out.
Thanks for the advice everyone, i checked out a few of those places and they do have some nice cases... but i ended up buying 6 of the gw trays a little while ago. Then again... seeing as how those are full now i can never have to many trays.
